From October 14th to 28th, Braw Haus presented the Genesthαi exhibition at the IHAM gallery, opening a dialogue between digital art and scientific research while challenging the taboos surrounding psychedelics and mental health. Genesthαi unveiled the intriguing world of DeSci, a subject long shrouded in mystery and curiosity.
Among the exhibited works, Genesthαi featured physical works such as "Alpha Waves Experience", an innovative MindArt installation that pushes visual boundaries, while the "One Arm Crypto Bandit" project questioned our relationship with technology. The exhibition remained primarily digital, featuring works by artists like Dirk Koy, Hakan Yılmaz, Balkan Karisman, Luke Conroy, Treeskulltown, Anne Horel, Kaoru Tanaka, and many others.

Vincent verroust
More than just a visual event, these two weeks of the exhibition proposed various workshops, debates and conferences that led by contemporary researchers and artists about psychedelic revivals, the evolution of mental health, the gap between neuroscience and psychotherapy, and the development of psychotropic drugs.
THE ALPHA WAVE EXPERIENCE
Alpha Wave Experience is a multidisciplinary art project directed by Dan Ghenacia, reinterpreting Bryon Gysin's Dreamachine.
Alpha Wave Experience revolves around a rotating light installation that stimulates the brain and optic nerve, inducing alpha wave frequencies through flickering light effects.
The experience is meant to be enjoyed with closed eyes, allowing visitors to perceive a unique palette of colors, patterns, and geometrical shapes while in a meditative state.
